What It Covers
Our workmanship warranty protects homeowners against any problems that arise from the installation process itself. This is the part of the job that makes the greatest difference in how long a roof truly lasts.
If a leak or failure occurs because of an installation error, Absolute Roof Solutions will correct it at no cost to you. That includes the labour, replacement shingles, nails, underlayment, flashing, and any other materials needed to make the repair.
Typical issues covered under this warranty include:
- Improper nailing techniques, such as under-nailing or over-nailing
- Incorrect layering of shingles or underlayment
- Improper installation of flashing or metal work
- Use of unsuitable or non-approved roofing materials
- Any workmanship-related error made during installation that leads to a roof defect or leak
In short, if a problem is caused by how the roof was installed rather than by product failure or external damage, we take full responsibility for fixing it.

We’ll send a qualified technician to check the overall condition of your roof, look for signs of wear, and ensure that everything is performing as it should. If any issues are found that fall under your workmanship warranty, we’ll repair them promptly and at no charge.
What’s Not Covered
Our workmanship warranty does not cover damage caused by events or conditions outside of our control, such as:
- Storms, wind, hail, or falling objects
- Ice dams, debris buildup, or animal activity
- Structural shifting or settlement
- Subsequent modifications made by other contractors
In these cases, we’re always available to assess the damage and provide professional repair services, but they are not covered under the workmanship warranty.
