The Presidential Shake TL is designed to replicate the appearance of hand-split cedar shakes, making it an excellent match for upscale homes in Capilano. Truth be told, they are an excellent choice for anywhere in the Greater Vancouver area, where appearance and durability are important.

The previous cedar roof had served the home well for 25 to 30 years but had reached the end of its life expectancy. Addressing Unique Challenges
One of the unique aspects of this project was dealing with a flat valley at the back of the home. Flat valleys can be particularly tricky where rainfall and snow are more abundant. Our team applied a specialized torch-on flat roofing system in this area to ensure proper water management and prevent potential leaks. This technique helps direct water flow efficiently, reducing the risk of pooling and damage over time.

The entire project took approximately a week and a half to complete, with our team ensuring every detail was perfect before finalizing the installation.
