This spring so far we haven't had a lot of rain. In fact, it appears it is going to be the driest spring in the last few years. Fingers crossed.
If you know your roof needs to be repaired or replaced, this is the best time to do it.
Two types of homeowners
According to our sales team manager, Justin Doyle, there are two types of homeowners he runs into.
There are the few who are proactive and know about the condition of their roof.
When it is bad, they want to do something about it before it is necessary so they can relax and have the peace of mind that it is taken care of for the rest of the year. They can then focus their attention on more pleasurable activities in the fall than worrying about leaks or worn out shingles.
Then there is the majority who unfortunately wait until something goes wrong with their roof in bad weather in the fall.
There is really nothing wrong with this except that is the time roofers are busiest. Anything but a costly emergency repair can take up to several weeks to get to because all roofing companies are so busy their jobs are scheduled out weeks in advance.
Best time of year to get fast service
Justin says, "At this time of year, we can schedule you in fast. Our crews are not under a time crunch, but they will be in a few months.
"Doing it now pays dividends for your peace of mind. Get your roofing problems out of the way before they become expensive must-fix-now emergencies."
